Local Transport
For those of you coming from out of town, there is easy access by train (700 m to Hammerum station) and city bus from within Herning (<500 m). If you are coming by car, there are many parking spaces around Hall’n with free, unlimited parking.
Tourist in the local area
In and around Herning, there are plenty of experiences and interesting places to visit, when you are not at the exhibition.
You can enjoy the beautiful nature of Gjellerup Enge, Løvbakkerne in Gullestrup or Skarrild Hede south of Herning.
All accepted exhibits receive a free ticket to the Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelts Museum. The ticket can also be used by others than the exhibitor.
There are also many cultural experiences available in museums like CHPEA (Carl Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelts museum), Heart (Herning Museum of Contemporary Art), Tekstilmuseet (The textile museum), or Søby brown coal field just south of Herning.
If you like live cultural experiences this is possible at Herning Ny teater or at some of the many events under the auspices of MCH.
